Children in grades 1 to 4 are invited to engage in wildlife learning experiences with a different theme each week. Come for one or sign up for the series. Fall series II starts Nov. 13.

IMAGINE, SING, AND LEARN: LIFE IN A POND

Active play and learning with Joppa Flats Teacher-Naturalist Lisa Hutchings for pre-schoolers, ages 3 to 5, with a favorite adult. Choose morning or afternoon sessions.

Thursday, Oct. 17, 10 to 11:30 a.m. or 1 to 2:30 p.m.

Fee: Adults $8, children $7. Registration is required.

NATURE ART CLASS: OWLS ON THE PROWL

Notice the beauty in nature and make it come to life with teacher Jan Morris. For children ages 6 to 10. Materials are provided. Parents are welcome but not required to stay. One remaining session, Oct. 24, Super Spiders- Nature Weaving

CCSI: COASTAL CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION

Children ages 7 to 12 are invited to drop in to investigate some intriguing mysteries of the marine world. Be prepared for perplexing crime scenes and exciting forensic investigations.
