NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court, on Friday, June 14, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trial:

Kathryn J. Orben, 48, 10 Ferry Lots Lane, Salisbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, one year in the house of correction, suspended and two years probation conditioned upon completion of a 14-day in-patient substance abuse prevention program with all recommended aftercare including remaining drug and alcohol free and attending two AA meetings a week, 2-year loss of license, $50 Victim/Witness Fund, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Witness Fund assessment, $250 Head Injury Fund; marked lane violation, responsible, filed (State Police).

NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, June 19, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury trial:

John J. Stockmann, 47, 82 Adams St., Burlington, Vt.; driving while under the influence of alcohol, not guilty; marked lanes violation, responsible, $100 fine (West Newbury).

Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

George R. Staples Jr., 28, 6 Carriage Hill Road, Apt. 23, Amesbury; resisting arrest, guilty, one year probation, $50 VWF; possession of class C drugs (Clonazepam), guilty, one year probation; disorderly conduct, guilty, filed; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, suspended with one year probation conditioned upon obeying the trespass ruling and staying away from Carriage Hill Apartments; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, suspended with one year probation conditioned upon obeying the trespass ruling and staying away from Carriage Hill Apartments, $50 VWF; trespass, guilty, 30 days in the house of correction, suspended with one year probation conditioned upon obeying the trespass ruling and staying away from Carriage Hill Apartments, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Luke J. Gaudreau, 22, 124 Congress St., Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $50 OUI-V, $250 OUI, $250 HIF; marked lanes violation, not responsible (Amesbury).
