In the last paragraph of yesterday’s article titled “Schools make cuts to budget,” (page 1) School Committee member Stanley Schwartz is quoted as saying the faculty and administration deserve better and that the situation had pitted SPED against regular education, among other things. Schwartz actually said that the students, faculty and administration deserve better, and used the term special education instead of SPED.
