This day in history

On this day in 1903, William Todd passed away at the age of 80. He was for 10 years principal of the Female High School in Newburyport. He gave $15,000 for the support of the reading room connected with the Newburyport Public Library and $50,000 for the erection of a new building for the Anna Jaques Hospital.
