NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trials were recorded Thursday, June 20, at Newburyport District Court with Judge Peter Doyle presiding:

Karen Hathaway, 39, 1 Hillside Ave., No. 3, Amesbury; assault and battery, six months pretrial probation, no contact with victim (Amesbury).

Christian Miller, 42, 1 Hillside Ave., No. 4, Amesbury; assault and battery, six months pretrial probation, no contact with victim (Amesbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trials were recorded Friday, June 21, at Newburyport District Court with Judge Peter Doyle presiding:

Damien A. Daniels, 29, 145 Belmont St., Worcester; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, guilty, nine months house of correction, sentence suspended two years while on probation, $800 fine, $200 surfine, $50 Victim-Witness Fund (West Newbury).

Jacob Gauthier, 17, 65 Beach Road, Salisbury; threat to commit crime, dismissed; disorderly conduct, continued without finding for six months; disturbing a school assembly, continued without finding for six months, $50 VWF, comply with school rules, no abuse of school staff (Newbury).

Katie Sullivan, 27, 164 Whitehall Road, Apt. 3-33, Amesbury; possession of a class A substance to distribute, 18 months in house of correction, sentence suspended 18 months, remain drug/alcohol free with random screens, continue with treatment, attend three AA meetings a week, $90 VWF; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, continued without finding for 18 months; possession of a class A substance to distribute, same as count 1; possession of a class A substance, continued without finding for 18 months; possession a class B substance, continued without finding for 18 months (Amesbury).

Mikhael Sarkis, 51, 5 Hoffman Ave., Lawrence; motor vehicle homicide while OUI; two counts of driving while under the influence of alcohol causing serious injury and neglect; marked lanes; and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle; all dismissed upon indictment in superior court (Newburyport).

Brenda L. Blanchard, 51, 45 Locust St., No. 221, Haverhill; intimidate a witness, continued without finding for a year, stay away and have no contact with victim, $90 VWF; intimidate a witness, continued without a finding for a year, $90 VWF; threat to commit a crime, continued without finding a year; intimidate a witness, continued without finding for a year, stay away and have no contact with victim, $90 VWF (Newburyport).
