Cat of the week

Meet Chambray! This gorgeous fluffy brown tiger and white 7 year old (a Maine Coon-look-a-like!) was adopted from the Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society a few years ago, but had to come back when her owner went into a nursing home. She is the most easy-going, gentle kitty who just wants a quiet home where she can lounge around and enjoy your company. Come meet her today.

The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society is located at 63 Elm St., Salisbury, 978-462-0760. It is open for adoptions on Tuesday and Wednesday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday, 4 to 7 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Closed on Sunday and Monday. For more information, log on to www.mrfrs.org. To schedule an appointment outside of regular hours, please email: adoptioncounselor@mrfrs.org.
