NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Friday, July 19, with Judge Peter Doyle presiding over the jury-waived trial:

Amanda McDermot, 27, 14 Spring St., Amesbury; unlicensed driving, pretrial probation for two months, $50 Victim-Witness Fund (Newburyport).

NEWBURYPORT: The follow cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Monday, July 22, with Judge Allen Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials:

Caroline A. Maggiacomo, 43, 59 Woodland Road, Westwood; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment, $250 Head Injury Fund assessment; speeding, not responsible (State Police).

Benjamin R. Taylor, 48, 4 Second St., Merrimac; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, probation for one year, 90-day loss of license, completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF; marked lane violation, not responsible; speeding, responsible, filed (Merrimac).

David C. Weller Jr., 60, 53 West Greenwood St., Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and probation for one year conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $50 VWF, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $250 HIF; possession of an open container of alcohol in a vehicle, not responsible (West Newbury).

Jaslyn A. Saab, 28, 17 Farrwood Road, Windham, N.H.; driving after license suspension, dismissed with court costs of $100 and $50 VWF; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Tonya L. Scheller, 39, 17 Beechstone, Apt. 3, Portsmouth, N.H.; for each of the following charges of assault and battery, possession of class C drugs, driving after license suspension, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (a screwdriver), two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon (a screwdriver and a shovel) and threat to commit crime, pretrial probation for two months conditioned upon completing the 28-day inpatient program through the Salem, N.H., office of probation, and no abuse of the victims (Salisbury).
