---- — NEWBURYPORT — Through the efforts of State Street Mobil, Immaculate Conception School has been awarded a $500 ExxonMobil Educational Alliance grant.
“We are proud to participate in the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program, and provide Immaculate Conception School with this type of financial support,” said Andrew de Bernardo, owner of State Street Mobil, in a press release. “It further demonstrates State Street Mobil’s commitment to serve and better our community.”
Immaculate Conception School Principal Mary Reardon said, “We are appreciative of Andrew’s efforts to provide us with this funding. The grant supports our mission to continually supply our students with the most current academic tools and materials.”
The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program is a nationwide program designed to provide fuel retailers such as State Street Mobil an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through grants to neighborhood schools. These grants are designed to help schools purchase supplemental learning tools in the fields of math and science, such as lab supplies and textbooks, or to fund math and science related field trips. The $500 grant for each chosen school is funded by the ExxonMobil Corporation and GlobalAlliance.
