Seabrook Town Notebook
---- — Pet owners have a chance to get their dogs licensed and vaccinated all in one spot on Saturday, April 20, with the town’s annual Spring Rabies Clinic.
The event takes place from 9 a.m. to noon at Seabrook Elementary School, 256 Walton Road. Personnel from Seabrook’s Old Town Animal Hospital will be on hand to give the rabies vaccinations for cats and dogs at $12 each.
Also present will be staff from Seabrook’s town clerk’s office, which issues dog licenses, which are required.
Those attending should bring rabies vaccination certificates if possible.
To protect pets, all cats must be in carriers and dogs on leashes.
The Friends of Winnacunnet Foundation will hold a 10-day fundraiser from April 12 through April 21 at the Hampton Falls Poker Room, 1 Lafayette Road. All the proceeds received from the charity gambling event will be used to support innovative educational programs at Winnacunnet High School.
A special event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, featuring food provided through the generosity of area restaurants.
For those who are not experienced at playing games of chance, a learning opportunity will be provided to help attendees learn how to play.
