Yankee Homecoming meeting next week

NEWBURYPORT — As Yankee Homecoming draws closer, the Yankee Homecoming Committee is hard at work putting the finishing touches on all of this year’s events like the High School Battle of the Bands and the Brewfest, which will take place two nights before opening ceremonies.

Volunteers are still needed to help with planning. The next general meeting is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Starboard Galley in the upstairs room. Each chairperson will give an update on how their event is going.

Starboard Galley will offer several meals at a reduced price to volunteers who eat upstairs from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m.
