O'Connor Ives endorses Lake for lt. gov.

BOSTON — The campaign of Mike Lake, Democratic candidate for lieutenant governor for Massachusetts, earned another endorsement yesterday from state Sen. Kathleen O’Connor Ives, D-Newburyport.

Citing his record on urban development, public service and social justice, O’Connor Ives said Mike Lake has the experience needed to serve the people effectively.

“I’m endorsing Mike Lake for lieutenant governor because he’s committed to seeking out opportunities for job growth and economic development in our state and will work hard every day to improve the quality of life in Massachusetts as an accessible, energetic and innovative partner,” O’Connor Ives said.

Lake said he was honored to have the support of O’Connor Ives.

“I am proud to have the endorsement of Kathleen O’Connor Ives because she understands that public service is about the public. She works hard every day for the people of Massachusetts, understands my history of public service and knows that I will work every day for everyone in Massachusetts.”
