Musical worship service at St. Paul’s tomorrow

Tomorrow at 9 a.m., St. Paul’s Church is hosting Quartet For-Te. The church will be offering a musical worship service called “Weaving our voices, weaving our stories, weaving our lives.” The church is located at 166 High St., Newburyport.

Adelynrood chapel open to public

The chapel at Adelynrood Retreat and Conference Center, 46 Elm St., Byfield, is open to the public until Aug. 31. The schedule is Tuesday-Friday: Morning prayer, 7:15 a.m.; Noon Prayers at noon; Compline, 9 p.m.; Holy Eucharist, Wednesdays at 7:15 a.m. All are welcome.

Celebrating its 100th year , Adelynrood Retreat and Conference Center is a ministry of the Companions of the Holy Cross. Adelynrood offers programs of spiritual enrichment from May through September and group meeting spaces year round for a modest fee. For more information, go to www.adelynrood.org.

VBS at Market Street Baptist Aug. 4-8

Market Street Baptist Church is hosting a Vacation Bible School for children ages 5-9 years Monday to Friday, Aug. 4-8, from 9 a.m. to noon at the church on 37 Market St., Amesbury. “Mission: God, Solving the Mystery of the Gospel” is the title of this detective themed program that includes games in the gym, crafts, bible study and songs to learn. A snack of fruit and water will be provided each day.

A suggested donation of $10 per child is requested. However, we do not wish to keep any child away for financial reasons, so we will gladly accept whatever you can afford, even if it’s nothing at this time.

Belleville Church summer services

Summer worship schedule at Belleville Congregational Church, 300 High St., Newburyport, has begun. July services will be held at 9:30 a.m. in the Fiske Chapel.
