NEWBURYPORT: The following jury-waived trials were recorded Monday, July 14 at Newburyport District Court with Judge Peter Doyle presiding:

William M. Seifert, 61, 199 Atlantic Ave., Salisbury; operating an uninsured motor vehicle, continued without finding for two years, $2,000 costs; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, admission to sufficient facts, $1,000 fine, $250 surfine, $50 Victim-Witness Fund (VWF); failure to drive in right lane, admission to sufficient facts, filed; speeding, admission to sufficient facts, $230 assessment (Merrimac).

Laurie Eaton, 43, 75 Collins St., Seabrook; assault and battery of a police officer, continued without finding for a year, submit to court clinic evaluation, remain medication compliant, comply with outpatient counseling, $50 VWF; assault and battery, continued without finding for a year; attempt to commit a crime, continued without finding for a year; disorderly conduct, continued without finding for a year (Newburyport).

Jeffrey Walter, 34, 11 Dolphin Drive, East Rochester, N.H.; possession of a class B substance, continued without finding for a year, $500 costs, $50 VWF; possession of a class B substance, continued without a finding for a year, $500 costs; possession of a class E substance, continued without finding for a year, $200 costs; possession of a class E substance, continued without finding for a year (Salisbury).

Palwasha Shir, 23, 722 Brighton Ave., Portland, Maine; receiving stolen motor vehicle; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; and use motor vehicle without authority, all dismissed (Salisbury).

Destiney Khuon, 19, 1435 Congress St., Portland, Maine; receiving stolen motor vehicle, dismissed (Salisbury).

Christopher A. Lofaro, 26, 51 Main St., West Newbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding for a year, complete alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims Fund, $250 Head Injury Fund, $50 VWF; speeding, not responsible (West Newbury).

Zachary A. Fenton, 21, 29 1/2 Merrimac St,. Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding for a year, complete alcohol safety awareness program, 90-day loss of license, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI Victims Fund, $250 Head Injury Fund, $50 VWF, attend half-day Brains at Risk program; marked lanes, not responsible; fail to stop/yield, not responsible (Newburyport).
