Selectmen to discuss water department options

At today’s Board of Selectmen’s meeting, water commissioner Stuart Dalzell Sr. will discuss his and selectmen Chairman Bob Snow’s recent visit to Pennichuck Water Service Corporation and Nashua Water Department. The town officials made these trips with the intention of getting an overview of a privatized water department and how this may be an option for the town of Rowley. Dalzell is set to address the board at 8 p.m. at the regular Monday meeting, which begins at 7.

Also up for discussion by the Planning Board at the Monday night meeting, at 7:30 p.m., is medical marijuana dispensaries. All residents are encouraged to attend the meeting or watch on cable TV on the Rowley Community Media station (channel 9 for Comcast users and channel 26 for Verizon users).
