NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the log of the Newburyport police:

Aurea DeSouza, 23, 61 Storey Ave., Newburyport, and Victoria Guenette, 24, 61 Low St., Newburyport, were both issued summonses yesterday at 10:01 a.m. on charges of assault and battery. Officers Joshua Tierney and Charles Eaton and Sgt. Stephen Chaisson issued the summonses on Storey Avenue.

Harry Cole, 47, 9 High St., Salisbury, was arrested yesterday at 3:41 p.m. on a warrant. Officers Christopher McDonald and Nora Duggan made the arrest on Green Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded in the log of the state police, Newbury barracks:

James Evans, 25, 11 South Lincoln St., Bradford, was arrested Wednesday at 10:26 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, driving after license suspension (subsequent offense), driving with an open container of alcohol, marked lanes violation and stop sign violation. Trooper Johnson made the arrest in Haverhill.

Giovanni Perez, 28, 18 South Newbury St., Lawrence, was arrested Wednesday at 3:29 a.m. on a warrant. Trooper Michael Topping made the arrest in Haverhill.

AMESBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Amesbury police:

Sean F. Quinn, 20, 208 Main St., West Newbury, was arrested Wednesday at 6:39 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, minor transporting alcohol, failure to use caution when stopping, and driving with an open container of alcohol. Officers Michael Purvis and Raymond Landry made the arrest on Macy Street and Clark Road.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the log of the Salisbury police:

David K. Fowler, 29, 28 West Shore Park Road, Kingston, N.H., was arrested Wednesday at 8:58 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes violation and seat belt violation. Officer Timothy Hunter made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the log of the Seabrook police:

Ashley Rapoza, 22, 49 Lafayette Road, Seabrook, and Melissa J. McDowell, 29, 459 Lafayette Road, were arrested Tuesday at 12:03 p.m. and both charged with two counts of drug possession. The arrest was made on Lafayette Road.

Kristina Marie Parker, 22, 27 Kimball Road, Amesbury, was arrested Wednesday at 1:55 p.m. on a bench warrant. Officers John Mounsey and Pat Smart made the arrest on Ledge Road.

Richard F. Goodwin, 58, 698 Lafayette Road, Hampton, N.H., was arrested yesterday at 8:08 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (subsequent offense). Officer Mounsey and Sgt. Robert Granlund made the arrest on Lafayette Road.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the log of the Groveland police:

George F. Evans, 40, 4 Williams Ave., Westford, was arrested yesterday at 1:39 a.m. on a warrant. Officer Heather Riley and Michael Traister made the arrest on Center Street.
