NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Joseph C. Walsh, 32, 37 Inn St., Newburyport, was issued a summons Tuesday at 3:05 p.m. on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, no inspection sticker and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Officers John Gavin and John Schmidt issued the summons on Low Street.

William A. Lowe, 48, 3 Gia Lane, Webster, was issued a summons Wednesday at 10:21 a.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, fail to yield at a rotary and no seat belt. Sgt. William Steeves issued the summons at 10:21 a.m. on Route 1.

AMESBURY

The following item was recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Robert James Merrill, 23, 32 Muddy Pond Road, Kensington, N.H., was arrested Tuesday at 10:35 p.m. and charged with three previous warrants. Officers David Noyes and Carl Lesage made the arrest on Rockyhill Road.

SALISBURY

The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:

David T. O’Rourke, 52, 19 Virginia Lane, Newburyport; Ethan J. Tryhubczak, 18, 69 Remington Farm Drive, Coventry, R.I.; and Andrew P. Mitura, 19, 4 Hilldan St., Coventry, R.I.; were issued summonses Tuesday at 9:36 p.m. by officers Richard Dellaria, Keith Forget and Sgt. Timothy Hunter on Pike Street. O’Rourke was charged with sell/deliver liquor to person under 21. Tryhubczak was charged with person under 21 transporting liquor and fail to yield at intersection. Mitura was charged with person under 21 in possession of liquor.

SEABROOK

The following item was recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Stephen J. Staffiery, 44, 215 Middle St., West Newbury, was arrested Tuesday at 10:45 a.m. and charged with shoplifting. Detective Daniel Lawrence made the arrest at the Liberty Lane police station.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Jesus Rivera, 30, 368 South Union St., first floor, Lawrence, was issued a summons Tuesday at 12:30 a.m. on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Trooper Campell issued the summons in Merrimac.
