NEWBURYPORT — Mass Audubon’s Joppa Flats Education Center, One Plum Island Turnpike, is a natural history education and visitor center that is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday and Monday holidays, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mass Audubon members receive discounts on programs. Activities and outings meet at the education center unless otherwise noted.

MEET BEACH CREATURES AT JOPPA
Before the beach, after the beach, or instead of the beach, drop in at Joppa Flats and visit the animals of our marine touch tanks for trouble-free tide pooling. All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by adults.
Tuesdays through Sundays in July and August, 9 a.m.-1p.m.
Fee: $2 per child suggested donation. Preregistration is not required.
