NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, with Judge Alan Swan presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Jeffrey M. Dodge, 61, 34 Grove St., Haverhill; indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, guilty, 18 months in the house of correction, 86 days to be and deemed served with the balance suspended and two years probation conditioned upon staying away from the victim and complying with the restraining order, no registration with the sexual offenders registry is required, beginning Aug. 7, the defendant will wear a GPS monitoring device, $90 Victim Witness Fund assessment; indecent assault and battery on a person over the age of 14, dismissed; on prior court dates charges of rape (two counts) and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon were nol prossed (discontinued), and one count of assault and battery was dismissed (Newburyport).

John T. Aleizo, 20, 2 Avery St., No. 181, Boston; two counts of making annoying phone calls/electronic communications, nolle prosequi (both discontinued); making annoying phone calls/communications with electronic devices, continued without finding and probation for nine months conditioned upon staying away from Governor’s Academy, $200 fine, $90 VWF (Newbury).

NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were recorded at Newburyport District Court on Thursday, July 25, 2013, with Judge Richard Mori presiding over the jury-waived trials.

Leah M. Spaulding, 34, 70 Powow St., Apt. 2, Amesbury; uninsured vehicle, continued without finding and probation for three months, $50 VWF; driving after registration suspension, continued without finding and probation for three months (Amesbury).

Donald G. Keene, 56, 178 Rural Route 1, Canton, Maine; driving while under the influence of alcohol, guilty, one year loss of license, $1,000 fine, $50 VWF, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund assessment; marked lane violation, responsible, file; fail to stop/yield, responsible, filed; possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Marcio A. Miranda, 36, 145 Franklin St., Framingham; driving after license suspension, guilty, $500 fine, $50 VWF; unlicensed driving, dismissed; marked lane violations, responsible, filed (State Police).
