LIONS CLUB YANKEE HOMECOMING ROADRACE

6 p.m., 5K; 6:10 p.m., 10M starts

Each year, thousands of runners in both the 10M and 5K enjoy a breathtaking course through the quaint seaside town. The 10-mile course runs along the water for several miles before winding past a state park, through charming New England neighborhoods, and ending at the Newburyport High School, on historic Mount Rural. The Yankee Homecoming 10M and 5K are truly picture perfect.

The Lions Club Yankee Homecoming Roadrace is one of the largest events during Yankee Homecoming week. To find out more, or to volunteer check out our website at www.yankeerace.com.

Join the Dick Kaplan Excellent Band with family and friends. The public are welcome to share the enjoyment of this concert with the residents.

ANNUAL KIDS DAY IN THE PARK

Free admission.

Kids Day in the Park activities include decorated bicycle and doll carriage parades. The parade will be from 10 to 10:30 a.m.

Children’s activities include children’s games, music, face painting and much more.

Food will be available.
