NEWBURYPORT: The following cases were filed on Tuesday, June 7, in Newburyport District Court. Judge Peter Doyle presided over the jury-waived trials:

Vimuth V. Yang, 55, 65 Farwell Road, Tyngsboro; violation of the striped bass ordinance, three months' probation, $50 Victim-Witness Fund, $150 costs; violation of striped bass ordinance, three months' probation; throwing fish overboard on inspection approach, three months' probation (Environmental Police).

Bethany Thoman, 39, 101 State St., Newburyport; trespassing, two months' probation, stay away from property order, $50 VWF (Newbury).

Sean M. Obrien, 46, 18 Elm St., Ipswich; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, to be dismissed upon payment of restitution in one month of $100 costs and $50 VWF (Rowley).

Joshua G. Conrad, 29, 4 Lonvale Lane, No. 88, Amesbury; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, guilty, $200 assessment, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Robert J. Lennox, 37, 110 Lafayette Road, Salisbury; resisting arrest, guilty, six months house of correction, 16 days to be served, deemed served, balance suspended 18 months, $50 VWF; disorderly conduct, guilty, ordered to participate in anger management program, remain drug and alcohol free with random screens; domestic assault and battery, no abuse of victim (Salisbury).

Jonathan Lamothe, 29, 63 Wiswall Road, Durham, N.H.; possession of burglarious instrument, guilty, six months in the house of correction, 30 days to be served, deemed served, balance suspended one year, $90 VWF, ordered to stay away from Hodgies ice cream shop (Salisbury).

Dean J. Champion, 47, 129 Madison Ave., Apt. R, Arlington; driving while under the influence of alcohol, guilty, 60 days in the house of correction, credit 153 days; operation of a motor vehicle with a license suspended due to OUI, dismissed; OUI while license suspended for OUI, guilty, $2,500 fine, $250 surfine, $50 VWF, $50 OUI Victim fund, one year in house of correction, after count one sentence (Newbury).

Judge Michael Uhlarik presided over the jury-waived trials:

Shawn A. Dennis, 45, 106 Whitehall Road, No. 22, Amesbury; resisting arrest, guilty, $300 fine, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Aimee L. Woodall, 24, 164 Whitehall Road, B1, Amesbury; assault on a child with injury, continued without finding for one year with conditions, $50 VWF, comply with the Department of Children and Families recommendations, no abuse of victim (Newburyport).

Daniel P. Leavitt, 21, 30 Frances Drive, Newburyport; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding one year, $250 Head Injury Fund, $260 OUI fund, $50 OUI Victim fund, $50 VWF, ordered to participate in alcohol and substance abuse program; marked lanes violation, responsible (Newburyport).

Patrick T. Scheidegger, 20, 32 Hooksett Road, Seabrook; operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, three months' probation, $50 to the VWF (Newburyport).

Anthony Giarrusso, 24, 10 Washington St., Amesbury; number plate violation with intent to conceal identification, three months' probation, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Devin J. Stehlin, 23, 3 Alter Court, Newburyport; vandalizing property, dismissed; malicious destruction of property valued over $250, dismissed; three counts of vandalizing a building, guilty, one year's probation, $50 VWF, 50 hours community service as a condition of probation, restitution to be determined (Newburyport).

Holly A. Nihan, 34, 12 Hooksett Road, Auburn, N.H.; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding for one year, 45-day loss of license, ordered to participate in ASAP, $250 Operating Under the Influence fee, $250 to the HIF, $50 VWF, $50 to the OUI victims assessment fund; marked lanes violation, not responsible (Amesbury).

Michael Gaff, 23 C Perkins St., Apt. 2, Amesbury; assault and battery, six months' probation, ordered to not abuse victim (Amesbury).

Anderson Batiste, 25, 11 Colony Drive, Apt. 5, Andover; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, three months' probation, $50 VWF; motor vehicle failure to meet safety standards, not responsible (Amesbury).

Jonathan M. Tinale, 35, 112 Main St., Salisbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, $250 to the HIF, $250 OUI fee, $50 OUI victim fund, $50 VWF, 24-day ASAP, 90-day loss of license, two years' probation; marked lanes violation, not responsible (Amesbury).
