If you're scanning the radio Thursday morning, you might want to move the dial to 101.7 FM (WFNX).
Mayor Thatcher Kezer will be on the radio that day championing his "song" to that of Somerville Mayor Joe Curtatone.
The radio station-sponsored competition is called "My Song Is Better Than Your Song" and pits the favorite songs of the two mayors.
Curtatone won last week with his song "Steady As She Goes" by the Raconteurs, while Revere Mayor Dan Rizzo picked "Rockaway Beach" by the Ramones, according to the Somerville Journal.
Kezer wouldn't say what song he'll pick when he's at the Lynn radio station, but a song that had been at the top of his list was knocked down by his "advisers" as not being hip enough for the alternative radio station.
The song Kezer was going to play was "Eye of the Tiger" by Survivor, made famous by "Rocky III."
After both songs are played, listeners will vote which mayor had the better song.
The contest airs at 9 a.m.

The renovated Elm Street fire station received a $27,313 grant from the federal Department of Homeland Security for an exhaust removal system for fire trucks stationed inside the station.
The station, which has been closed for 20 years, is expected to be opened soon with an open house for the community this month.
The grant is through Homeland Security's Assistance to Firefighters Grant program.
The money will be used for the exhaust removal systems, which prevent carcinogens from contaminating a firehouse and help protect lives and lungs of firefighters, according to Congressman John Tierney's office.
"I am glad that this funding will allow the Amesbury Fire Department to purchase this critical technology and help keep those who serve our communities safe as they protect us," Tierney said.
"We have always had good luck with getting grants, and ask that DHS and the president keep up with programs like this," Amesbury fire Chief Jonathan Brickett said.
