Heard Around Town

Daily News columnist John Lagoulis, 92, was injured recently in a fall. The multiple injuries are serious but not life-threatening due to his good health and strength.

Lagoulis is now recuperating at home. He said he looks forward to writing his columns about Newburyport history and finalizing his writings and book later this year.
