Approximately 17 percent of children have some type of developmental disability, including speech and language disorders, learning disabilities and ADHD. For many of these diagnoses, there isn't a medical cure; although, drugs may help manage the condition. If you or someone in your family is dealing with one of these difficulties or some other disease that affects young people or if you'd just like to join in supporting prayerful solutions, join this chat with an experienced Christian Science healer. Many have found that prayer, based on the teachings of Christian Science and its form of spiritual healing, has helped bring health and peace to the home and to children. This chat is sponsored by the Christian Science church in Boston. Anyone is welcome to participate or just listen in at the Christian Science Reading Room, 50 Pleasant St., Newburyport, 978-465-0286. All chats are archived and will be available 24/7.
