(Continued)

Reasons for running for office: “I’m running because I still care about my town. And I feel I still have the energy to provide quality service to the people of Salisbury.”

Do you support the bond override question request on the ballot to build a new library? “Yes, I support the override for the library, but that’s a qualified ‘yes’ because I need to know more about the cost of the project, such as future operating and maintenance costs of running a larger library. But I do believe public buildings like libraries provide a safe haven for people and also provide them the tools they need to have.”

Reasons for running for office: “I’m running to move the town forward and to build support between the town department heads.”

Paula Moore

Age: 62

Address: North End Boulevard

Email: paula@paulamoore.net

Years living year-round in Salisbury: Three

Occupation: owner/manager of Travel Anywhere

Education: Master’s degree from University of Phoenix

Current/past offices held: None

Do you support the bond override question request on the ballot to build a new library? “I don’t support the override question for the new library because I can’t speak for other people. I don’t think we have enough information yet, but it has to be up to the voters to decide.”

Reasons for running for office: “I’m running for office because I don’t like it when people run unopposed, as has happened in Salisbury in the past. And I’m running for a more fair sewer rate system.”
