NEWBURYPORT: The following case was recorded at Newburyport District Court on Tuesday, Nov. 13, with Judge Allan Swan presiding over the jury trial:

Joseph H. Piper, 43, 277 Portsmouth Ave., Seabrook; driving while under the influence of alcohol, not guilty (Salisbury).

Judge Peter Doyle presided over the following jury-waived trials:

Seamus O’Neil, 50, 7 Pond Hill Road, Amesbury; driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), guilty, six months in the house of correction, suspended, with two years probation including one with a sobrietor installed, conditioned upon completion of a 14-day inpatient substance abuse treatment program with aftercare, remaining drug and alcohol free, two-year loss of license, $250 Operating Under Intoxication fee, $50 Operating Under Intoxication Victim Fund, $50 Victim Witness Fund, $250 Head Injury Fund; marked lanes violation, responsible, filed (Amesbury).

Chad T. Vincent, 32, 2 Burnside Lane, Merrimac; negligent driving, continued for three months, $50 VWF (Amesbury).

Anthony Giarusso, 25, 13 Adams St., Merrimac; driving after license suspension, continued without finding and six months probation, $50 VWF; failure to notify Registry of address change, not responsible (Amesbury).

Vladimire B. Strattner, 24, 14 Alder St., Exeter, N.H.; driving after license suspension for being an habitual traffic offender, guilty, nine months in the house of correction with three days to be and deemed served and the balance suspended with two years probation, $50 VWF (Salisbury).

David Rodriguez, 29, 16 Vine St., Apt. 2, Haverhill; unlicensed driving, continued without finding and probation for six months, $50 VWF; number plate violation, responsible, filed (State Police).

Matthew R. Robitaille, 35, 318 Clifton St., Malden; driving while under the influence of alcohol, continued without finding and one year probation conditioned upon completion of an alcohol safety awareness program, 45-day loss of license, $250 OUI, $50 OUI-V, $50 VWF, $250 HIF; driving after license suspension, continued without finding and probation for one year; marked lanes violation, not responsible (Amesbury).

Zachary M. Jordan, 22, 29 Sheridan St., Apt. 2B, Lawrence; assault and battery, continued without finding and probation for nine months conditioned upon no abuse of victim, $50 VWF; disorderly conduct, dismissed; disturbing the peace, continued without finding and probation for nine months (Salisbury).
