Boot Camp

A two-day-per-week, eight-week boot camp will be offered by Nancy McCarthy at Cashman Park. The camp includes strength and cardio conditioning for adults of all fitness levels. Golf

The Newburyport Wall of Fame Golf Tournament will be Aug. 1 at Ould Newbury Golf Club. It will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The cost is $75 per player for 18 holes, carts, lunch and raffle tickets. The NHS Baseball Alumni Association will host a golf tournament Aug. 19 (8 a.m. start, 7 a.m. registration) at Ould Newbury Golf Club. The entry fee is $100 per golfer or $400 per foursome. Each golfer securing a hole sponsor ($100) or cart sponsor ($75) will receive a $25 discount. Proceeds from this year’s tournament will be used to support an annual scholarship and for continued enhancements to Pettingell Park. The first annual Masconomet Varsity Girls Hockey Booster Golf Tournament will be June 27 (1:30 p.m.) at Black Swan Country Club. Cost to play is $125 per person, or join us for dinner for $40. Hockey

Newburyport Youth Hockey is accepting applications for the 2013-14 Mite Instructional Hockey program. The goal of the program is to teach girls and boys ages 5 and 6 basic hockey skills while creating a fun environment for both the children and their parents. Games and practices are held locally at the Graf Rink from Sept. to Feb. To register online visit www.nyhl.org.
