The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Thomas Curtis, 33, 73 Ford St., Methuen, was issued a summons Saturday at 12:55 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Officers Charles Vorderis and John Schmidt issued the summons at K-Mart, Storey Avenue.

Leighton Paradis, 18, 20 West Winkley St., Amesbury; Lilly Donovan, 18, 117 Low St., Newburyport; Bryn Willingham, 18, 6 Riverview Drive, Newburyport; and five 17-year-old juveniles were issued summonses Saturday at 10:49 p.m. on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol. Officers John Gavin and Gregory Whitney issued the summonses following a report of a fire at Plum Island Point.

A 17-year-old juvenile was issued a summons Sunday at 1:08 a.m. on a charge of possession of a class D substance. Officers Gavin and Whitney issued the summons on Pine Hill Road.

Stephen D. Puleo, 41, 21 Walnut St., Newbuyport, was arrested Sunday at 9:07 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers Vorderis, Robert Vatcher and Sgt. Howard Adams made the arrest on Walnut Street.


The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Luis Guillerm Tavaras, 22, 5 Dennett St., Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 7:23 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officer Craig Lesage made the arrest on Collins Avenue.

Laura Francis Riley, 49, 144 Groveland St., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 12:13 a.m. and charged with assault and battery of a police officer and resisting arrest. Officers Kevin Mulrenin and Ronald Guilmette made the arrest on Brown Avenue.

Joseph Cardosi, 49, 6 Carriage Hill Road, No. 3, Amesbury, was arrested Saturday at 9:33 p.m. and charged with disorderly conduct. Officers Guilmette and Charles Sciacca made the arrest on Carriage Hill Road.

Brent Bergeron, 32, 89 Congress St., Amesbury, was arrested Sunday at 1:37 a.m. and charged with two previous warrants. Officers Guilmette and Lesage made the arrest on Cedar Street.
