Fire alarm system out of service tomorrow

NEWBURYPORT — The Newburyport Fire Department has announced that its fire alarm system at fire headquarters will be out of service from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. tomorrow.

“If your building is connected via a master box directly to the fire department, we will not be able to receive an alarm during that time period. If the alarms in your building sound during this period, call 911 to report the activation,” said fire Deputy Chief Steve Bradbury.
