Meet and greet the Council on Aging Board of Directors on Wednesday, May 14, between 3:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Newbury Senior Center, 63 Hanover St.

‘Lizzie Borden and the 40 Whacks’ at the Senior Center

The Delvena Theatre Company will be presenting “Lizzie Borden and the 40 Whacks” at the Newbury Senior Center, 63 Hanover Street, Newbury on Tuesday June 10, at 1 p.m.

An edutainment production, written by Fran Baron and Directed by Joseph Zamparella, Jr. the show will feature Lynne Moulton and Joseph Zamparelli, Jr. in multiple roles. The performance includes a mock trial that invites the audience to participate by questioning Lizzie and deciding her guilt or innocence. Did she or didn’t she? You be the judge.

“Lizzie Borden and the 40 Whacks” is supported by a grant from the Newbury Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency. To reserve a seat call the Council on Aging Senior Center at 978-462-8114.
