This Day in History

On this day in 1900, The Mechanics National Bank and the Ocean National Bank are consolidated under the Ocean Bank name. The Mechanics National Bank was the oldest bank in the city. The Ocean Bank subsequently merged with the First National forming the First and Ocean Bank. It has since been acquired by TD Bank.
