Wanted: Area's best carriage barns

Awards to be given in 3 categories

Residents who are familiar with a carriage barn in their area that could be a contender are encouraged to submit nomination papers to the museum. Miles said people can drop off information with the Chamber of Commerce, or they can write to the museum at PO Box 252 in Amesbury.

“We just need to have the address, a picture of the exterior of the carriage house and the owner’s name and telephone number,” Miles said.

There is no entrance fee and the competition is open to all local residents. For more information, contact the Amesbury Carriage Museum at 603-378-0140.
