Robert Eugene Craft, 57, 28 River Front Road, Newbury, was arrested Wednesday at 11:48 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and marked lanes. The arrest was made on Route 1.

Peter F. Jackson, 62, 870 Haverhill St., Apt. 23A, Rowley, was issued a summons Saturday at 11:10 a.m. on charges of leaving scene of property damage and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. The summons was issued on Route 1.

William Hale Herrick III, 16 Mill Road, Rowley, was arrested Saturday at 8:16 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. The arrest was made on Dodge Road.

Kelly E. Merry, 32, 25 School St., Rowley, was arrested Sunday at 12:01 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, leaving scene of property damage and failure to stay in marked lanes. The arrest was made on Haverhill Street.

GEORGETOWN

The following items were recorded in the Georgetown police log:

Jonathan Batista-Negron, 23, 73 Congress St., Salem, was arrested Saturday at 1:18 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license due to OUI, refusing to identify self for police, speeding in violation of special regulations, no inspection sticker and possession of a class D substance. Officer Adam Raymond made the arrest on East Main Street.

Michael Jarvis, 23, 416 Water St., Haverhill, was arrested Monday at 1:45 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license due to OUI, possession of a class B substance and possession of a class D substance. Officer Derek Jones made the arrest on Pleasant Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

James P. Murray Jr., 20, 424 Poole St., Ludlow, was issued a summons Friday at 5:05 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, fail to yield for emergency vehicle and fail to use right lane for travel. Trooper LaVita issued the summons in Haverhill.
