This Day in History

On this day in 1912, the body of Moody Sayward was revealed by the receding tide and discovered by boys lying on Joppa Flats. Very peculiar circumstances surround his death. Dr. Hurd, the medical examiner, gave the cause of death as drowning. No one could understand why Mr. Sayward would be out on the flats.
