The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:
Michael D. Piercy, 48, 65 Market St., Apt. 2B, Amesbury, was arrested Tuesday at 12:18 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers Megan Muldowney and Gregory Whitney made the arrest on Storey Avenue.
Tiarra Green, 22, 52 Macy St,. Amesbury, was issued a summons Tuesday at 1:45 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery. Officers Muldowney and Whitney issued the summons at Anna Jaques Hospital, Highland Avenue.
Ann Caron, 37, 19 Lafayette St., Newburyport, was issued a summons Wednesday at 1:34 p.m. on a charge of shoplifting. Officer Keith Carter issued the summons following an incident at Stonewall Kitchen, State Street. According to police, the suspect grabbed placemats and hid them inside her baby stroller.
The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:
Jason J. Cassie, 34, 334 Main St., Plaistow, N.H., was issued a summons Tuesday at 6:26 p.m. on charges of failure to inspect motor vehicle, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Steven Reed issued the summons on Macy Street near Interstate 495.
Richard J. Kolenda Jr., 45, 427 Farrwood Drive, Bradford, was issued a summons Tuesday at 7:25 p.m. on charges of failure to inspect motor vehicle and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officer Reed issued the summons on Macy Street.
Summer Joy Hoermann, 21, 51 Kent St., Apt. A, Newburyport, was issued a summons Tuesday at 10:40 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Officer Charles Sciacca issued the summons on Haverhill Road.
Joshua Davidson, 36, 61 Glen Devin St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Wednesday at 11:15 a.m. on a charge of attempted shoplifting. Sgt. William Scholtz and officer Jason Kooken issued the summons following an incident at Vermette’s on Pond Street. According to police, Davidson attempted to swipe an 18-pack of beer but was spotted before leaving the store.
The following item was recorded in the Salisbury police log:
William J. Lingos, 25, 32 Northend Blvd., Salisbury; Marcel Galindo Lima, 23, 23 Roughan St., No. 4, Revere; and Murphy Seifert, 22, 140 Railroad Ave., No. 1, Salisbury; were issued summonses Wednesday at 4:34 a.m. on a charge of possession of unlawful fireworks. Officers Keith Forget, Richard Dellaria and Sgt. Timothy Hunter issued the summonses following a complaint of fireworks being fired on Broadway.

David A. Daneau Jr., 31, 33 Farm Lane, No. 2, Seabrook, was arrested Tuesday at 1:55 p.m. and charged with conspiracy to commit theft from vehicle. Officer John Mounsey and Detective Brett Walker made the arrest on Route 1.

Nicholas Giroux, 20, 11 West Main St., No. 7, Merrimac, was arrested Tuesday at 4:10 p.m. and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and threat to commit a crime. Officers Robert Coppola, Jeffrey Bosivert, Sgt. David Vance and Chief Eric Shears made the arrest on Church Street.
