Has your driver’s license expired? Drivers are reminded to check the expiration date and contact the Registry of Motor Vehicles to renew your license before it expires.

The SHINE program provides free confidential help for senior citizens with health insurance questions. Medicare, Medicaid, MassHealth, Prescription Advantage and all types of Medi-gap programs. Call the Council On Aging office at 978-462-8650 for an appointment.

The Newburyport Council On Aging provides transportation for senior citizens and for disabled non-elders. The vans pick residents up at their Newburyport homes and deliver them to any other Newburyport location. These services are available weekdays from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. A $2 round-trip donation is requested. Transportation for senior citizens to out-of-town destinations is also available. Call the Council On Aging office, 978-462-8650, for information.
