Local bank collecting money for marathon fund

NEWBURYPORT – The Institution Savings has announced that it is collecting donations in all locations for The One Fund Boston.

The One Fund Boston was launched by Governor Deval Patrick and Boston Mayor Menino to raise money to help those families most affected by the tragic events that unfolded on Patriot’s Day, April 15. The bank will make the first donation of $1,000.

Checks can be made out to The One Fund Boston, Inc. and dropped off at any of the bank’s locations in Newburyport (93 State St., 81 State St., 68 Storey Ave.); Ipswich (2 Depot Sq. and 112 County Road); Rowley (312 Haverhill St.); Salisbury (7 Bridge Road), or Topsfield (5 Main St.). Donations may also be mailed to the Institution for Savings, c/o The One Fund Boston, PO Box 510, Newburyport, MA 01950.
