Candidates Night set for May 8

ROWLEY — The Friends of the Rowley Public Library will sponsor a Candidates Night on Wednesday, May 8. The evening will be an opportunity for the candidates running for election to introduce themselves and answer questions from the public.

Candidates include, but are not limited to: School Committee, Board of Selectmen, library trustees, Cemetery Commission, Water and Municipal Light Boards, Board of Assessors and shellfish commissioner.

The free event will be held at the Rowley Public Library, 141 Main St., from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Each candidate will have between 3 and 5 minutes to speak. Candidates will discuss their backgrounds and how they plan to contribute to the town.
