James Laurendeau, 46, 122 Georgetown Road, West Newbury, was arrested Saturday at 6 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers Barry Coker and Patrick Clay made the arrest on Georgetown Road.

ROWLEY

The following item was recorded in the Rowley police log:

Carol Ann Ford, 50, 263 Haverhill St., Rowley; and Robert W. Roberge, 31, 13 Pleasant St., Salisbury; were arrested Thursday at 9:15 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Sgt. David Sedgwick and officer Jesse Mazzie made the arrests on Haverhill Street.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Richard A. Mercik, 27, 15 Juniper Road, Ashburnham, was arrested Friday at 6:27 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, marked lanes, negligent operation of a motor vehicle and speeding. Trooper Grimes made the arrest in Haverhill.

Rey Lopez, 23, 30 Easton St., Lawrence, was issued a summons Friday at 10:27 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, speeding and open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. Trooper Alestock issued the summons in Haverhill.

Katelynn E. Gayne, 23, 20 Fowler St., Augusta, Maine, was arrested Saturday at 10:02 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, leave scene of property damage and marked lanes. Trooper Grimes made the arrest in Newburyport.
