NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Adam Gary Nason, 31, Woodman Way, No. 7, Newburyport, was arrested Saturday at 2:41 a.m. and charged with assault and battery. Officer Charles Ferlauto made the arrest on Low Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Emanuel Perianez Gonzalez, 21, 90 Pecslee Crossing Road, Newton, N.H., was issued a summons Saturday at 4:45 p.m. on charges of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and fail to yield at intersection. Officer Lauren Tirone issued the summons following a motor vehicle accident at the Deer Island turnaround on Merrill Street.

Edward Duquette, 55, 925 Essex St., Lawrence, was arrested Saturday at 6:53 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, fail to stop/yield and operating to endanger. Officers Jonathan Morrill, Kevin Mulrenin and Thomas Nichols made the arrest on Merrill Street.

Nicole M. Heldreth, 28, 129 Meadow Lane, Vass, N.C., was issued a summons Saturday at 9:30 p.m. on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Officers Matthew Cunningham and Nichols issued the summons on Hillside Avenue.

Torey R. Moughan, 25, 7 Greenwood St., Amesbury, was arrested Sunday at 12:54 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (second offense), operating to endanger and leaving scene of property damage. Officers Nichols, Cunningham and Mulrenin made the arrest on Greenwood Street.

Nathan Q. Bowman, 26, 11 Bay Road, No. 4, Newmarket, N.H., was arrested Sunday at 10:05 a.m. and charged with three previous warrants. Officer Morrill made the arrest on Powow Street.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Ryan M. Cormier, 25, 10 Stonecroft, No. 3, Portsmouth, N.H., and Robert Davis-Bohler, 23, 50 Demeritt Ave., Lee, N.H., were arrested Friday at 3:39 p.m. and charged with possession of a class D substance over an ounce. Cormier was also charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and no inspection sticker. Davis-Bohler was also charged with two previous warrants. At the same time, Chaz Chandler, 21, 87 Brown Ave., No. 1, Hampton, N.H., was issued a summons for possession of a class D substance over an ounce. Sgt. Timothy Hunter made the arrests on Route 1.
