Women of Faith at St. James

St. James Episcopal Church, 120 Main St., Amesbury, welcomes women of all ages to join this monthly meeting of women interested in growing deeper in faith through Bible study and reflection.

This study of Bible will take place the second and fourth Thursday in the months of September through May from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Parish Hall of the church. Parking is available in the back of the church, as well as street parking. Please bring your NRSV Bible.

Insight Meditation Center of Newburyport

The Insight Meditation Center of Newburyport offers a variety of meditation opportunities including: classes, retreats, workshops and daily sittings. Located in a rural setting close to I-95 and downtown Newburyport, the center provides an ideal environment for the practice of Insight Meditation (Vipassana). Summer services at First Parish, Belleville

During July and August, the First Parish Church of Newbury and Belleville Congregational Church will be combining summer services. Worship service for July will be at Belleville Church at 9:30 a.m., led by the Rev. Ross Varney. August worship services will be held at First Parish Church of Newbury at 9:30 a.m., led by the Rev. Bible study at Old South

A weekly Bible study is held at Old South Church in Fellowship Hall every Wednesday at 7 p.m. The group is studying the “Seven Deadly Sins.” Anyone can join in at any time. The church is located on Federal Street in Newburyport.
