$20; meet at the Lighthouse at the North End of Plum Island

Bird the flats and shoreline. Wear sturdy, walking shoes.

Newburyport Harbor Watches

Sundays, Sept. 15, 22, 29

7 to 9 a.m.

Meet at Newburyport’s seawall on Water Street, located between Neptune and Madison streets.


Look for migrating birds!

During this program, the focus will be on the many aids to field identification, including physical characteristics, habitat preference and feeding techniques.

Meet at Parker River National Wildlife Refuge parking lot 1.

Explore Parker River National Wildlife Refuge during this interpretative program. The focus will be on field marks and where these migrants are headed. Long-sleeved shirt and long pants are suggested.
