Students' artwork to be showcased

GEORGETOWN — The First Annual Glory Wall Exhibition opening will be on Feb. 6 at 6 p.m. in the Georgetown Public Library. The Glory Wall is a rotating wall of student artwork from the students of Georgetown Middle and High School Art Department. Each month, in front of the main office, a showcase Georgetown's highest achieving visual art students are on display. These students travel the extra mile in creativity, originality and craftsmanship. They have explored mediums from pencil and charcoal to photography and sculpture. This event is open to the public as well as family and friends of the artists. Students wo will be recognized are as follows:

September: Madeline Cannon, Matthew Favazza, Paul Sousa, Paul Sartorelli, Kylie White, Lydia Richards, Rebecca LaPlaca, Nicholas Grumshall, Christina Mc Arthur, Emily Norloff, Shannon McNutt.

October: Paige Fournier, Chris Robson, Kristen Chorzewski, Logen Witz, Elisabeth Norwood, Matt Wilcox, Dakota Collins, Hailee Lacrasse, Brynn Beaudoin, Jennifer Dow, Michaela Boucher, Justin Titus, Alex Grenier.

November: Logan Slevoski, Abby Coffman, Owen Birmingham, Kendelle Cooper, Tom Mulligan, Tim Southwick, Taylor Turgeon, Ian McGrail, Shawn Bond, Christobal Bravo Montero, Jessica Cody, Moira O'Sullivan, Dan McCuish, Stefania Khoda.

December: Taryn Loomis, John Blythe, Jack Donahue, Kyle Greenler, Shannon MacNutt, Heather Barbieri, Jamie Bent, Eric Hedberg, Cassandra Lewis, Melissa Edwards, Brigit Kavanagh.
