The following item was recorded in the Newburyport police log:

John W. Strausser, 27, 16 Woodman Way, No. 22, Newburyport, was arrested Saturday at 7:08 a.m. and charged with shoplifting. Officer Kevin Martin made the arrest at Market Basket off Storey Avenue.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Corey Ruane, 22, 1461 Pawtucket Blvd., Apt. 11F, Lowell, was issued a summons Friday at 8:10 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a revoked registration. Officers Steven Reed and Jonathan Morrill issued the summons on Hillside Avenue.

Marc Pages, 27, 30 Barr St., Salem, was arrested Saturday at 1:18 a.m. and charged with three warrants. Officers Craig Lesage and Raymond Landry made the arrest on Interstate 495 south.

Thomas J. Minion, 40, 19 Downing Ave., Haverhill, was arrested Saturday at 1:33 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol (third offense), fail to signal and marked lanes. Officers Landry and Ronald Guilmette made the arrest on Pond View Avenue.

William Williamson, 23, 35 Dyerville Ave., Johnston, R.I., was arrested Saturday at 8:15 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant and operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license (subsequent offense). Officers Thomas Nichols and David Noyes made the arrest on Haverhill Road.

Peter K. Garland, 32, 9A Pine St., Springsvale, Maine, was arrested Saturday at 11:08 p.m. and charged with possession of a class A substance (subsequent offense), false name to police, operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license and child 5-12 without restraint. Officers Noyes, Nichols and Lauren Tirone made the arrest on Route 110.

SALISBURY

The following items were recorded in the Salisbury police log:

Daniel Joseph McLaughlin, 23, 26 Pearl St., Amesbury, was issued a summons Friday at 1:03 p.m. on a charge of larceny from a building. Detective Steven Sforza issued the summons following an incident on Cable Avenue.

Ryan Avakian, 40, 24 Bachelor Road, Apt. A13, Seabrook, was arrested Saturday at 4:37 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection sticker and cracked windshield. Officers Mark Thomas and Keith Forget made the arrest on Main Street.

Bjanko Jakic, 24, 18 Warren St., No. 3, Peabody, was arrested Saturday at 6:48 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Officers Richard Dellaria and Sgt. Timothy Hunter made the arrest on Elm Street.

SEABROOK

The following items were recorded in the Seabrook police log:

Samuel John O’Leary, 18, 3 Long Hill Road, Rowley, was arrested Friday at 7:35 p.m. and charged with transporting alcoholic beverages. Officers Ryan Kane and Mark Richardson made the arrest on Route 1.

Kevin M. Suarez, 28, 3 May Court, Methuen, was arrested Saturday at 11:35 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers John Mounsey and Adam Laurent made the arrest on Ocean Boulevard.

Peter Andrew Riley, 48, 154 Ocean Blvd., Seabrook, was arrested Saturday at 3:29 p.m. and charged with violating a protective order. Officers Laurent and Joseph Lister made the arrest on Ocean Boulevard.

Ronald R. Welch, 29, 174 South Main St., Seabrook; and Scott P. O’Connor, 23, 52 Elm St., Salisbury, were arrested Saturday at 6:13 p.m. and charged with receiving stolen property. Officers David Hersey and Keith Ditenhofer made the arrests at Walmart on Route 1.

Kevin M. Guy, 50, 817 Lafayette Road, Apt. O, Seabrook, was arrested Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and charged with theft by unauthorized taking. Officers James Deshaies made the arrest on Brown Avenue.

GROVELAND

The following item was recorded in the Groveland police log:

Jason Gore Jr., 19, 184 School St., Groveland, was arrested Sunday at 11:30 a.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers Gregory Pekarski and John Lannon made the arrest on Main Street.

GEORGETOWN

The following item was recorded in the Georgetown police log:

William Smith, 23, 65 Bailey Lane, Georgetown, was arrested Sunday at 4:10 a.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol, leaving scene of property damage and marked lanes.

STATE POLICE

The following items were recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Christopher M. Dempsey, 41, 11 Chelsea Way, Stratham, N.H., was issued a summons Friday at 4:29 p.m. on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and speeding. Trooper O’Neill issued the summons in Newburyport.

Nicholas L. Cappello, 24, 536 Boston Road, Billerica, was issued a summons Friday at 9:25 p.m. on a charge of attaching plates. Trooper Katsarakes issued the summons in Danvers.

Harold R. Hawkes, 20, 21 Daniels Road, Rowley, was arrested Saturday at 3:40 p.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, no inspection sticker and fail to yield. Trooper Topping made the arrest in Rowley.
