Rotary's Duck Race swims off Saturday

AMESBURY — The Amesbury Rotary Club will hold its second annual Powow River Duck Race Saturday at 11 a.m.

Adopt a duckling for $5 or purchase a Quack pack (six) for $25, a ducky dozen (12) for $45 or a box of quackers (30) for $100. The proceeds from this year’s event will benefit the Amesbury Relay for Life and other programs of the Amesbury Rotary Club such as high school scholarships, Educator of the Year and Our Neighbors’ Table, to name a few.

First prize is $1,000 cash. Second prize is four Red Sox tickets to see the Red Sox vs. Texas on June 5 and third prize is four tickets to the Boston Duck Tours. There is also the Ugly Duckling prize of $50 for the duck that crosses the finish line closest to 30 minutes from the start.
