Police Logs

NEWBURYPORT

The following items were recorded in the Newburyport police log:

Joseph A. DiGirolamo, 19, 166R Lynnfield St., Peabody, was issued a summons Sunday at 6:04 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration. Officers Shawn Eaton and Michael Wilichoski issued the summons on Route 1.

Daniel J. Mahoney, 32, 7 Ocean View Ave., Saugus, was issued a summons Sunday at 6:31 p.m. on charges of threat to commit a crime and disturbing the peace. Officer Joshua Tierney issued the summons on Park Circle.

Michael Stimpson, 48, 13 Bridge Road, Salisbury, was arrested Sunday at 11:55 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Sgt. William Steeves made the arrest at the Newburyport police station.

Paul Ritson, 45, 32 Maynard St., Malden, was arrested Monday at 8:59 a.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Officers Gregory Whitney and John Schmidt made the arrest on High Street.

AMESBURY

The following items were recorded in the Amesbury police log:

Michael P. Harkness, 47, 11.5 Mill St., No. 21, Amesbury, was arrested Friday at 3:32 p.m. and charged with violating an abuse prevention order. Officers Jason Kooken, Robery Chatigny and David Clark made the arrest at the Mill Street bath house.

Thomas M. Costello, 69, 1 Shore St., Newburyport, was arrested Friday at 10:37 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol and marked lanes. Officers Raymond Landry and Steve Reed made the arrest on Macy Street.

David Donald Swenson, 43, 6 California Lane, Amesbury, was arrested Sunday at 3:29 p.m. and charged with domestic assault and battery. Officers David Noyes, Kevin Mulrenin and Lauren Tirone made the arrest on California Lane.

Peggy A. Cummings, 57, 6 Carriage Hill Road, Amesbury, was arrested Sunday at 6:29 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol. Officers Mulrenin and Tirone made the arrest on Carriage Hill Road.

Robert S. McLane, 50, 28 Adams Court, Apt. 4/3, Amesbury; and Christopher A. French, 31, 9 Green St,. No. 5, Amesbury; were arrested Monday at 12:57 a.m. and charged with disturbing the peace. Sgt. Michael Purvis and officers Mulrenin, Noyes and Sgt. Glenn Chaput made the arrest following a fight in progress call on Green Street.
