Cat of the week

We still have kittens! Come in this weekend to see our "new stock" — we've got a little bit of everything! Ease the pain of back to school by taking one or two of these cuties home today. Kittens come complete with over $500 worth of vet care: spay/neuter, rabies and distemper vaccinations, flea treatment and deworming, feline leukemia testing, and Home Again microchip with lifetime registration. Our adoption fee for kittens is $200 for one, or $300 for two. Take home an adult kitty for only $50 through Labor Day weekend. The Merrimack River Feline Rescue Society is located at 63 Elm St., Salisbury, 978-462-0760, or at Petsmart in Danvers on Route 114, 978-223-0023. The Salisbury location is open for adoptions on Tuesday through Thursday, 2-6 p.m., Friday, 2-7 p.m., and Saturday, noon-5 p.m. The shelter is open by appointment only on Sunday and closed on Mondays. The Petsmart location has the same hours, with the addition of being open Sundays from noon-2 p.m. For more information, log on to www.mrfrs.org.
