David Richard Habib, 42, 42 Kimball Road, Methuen, was arrested Wednesday at 9:27 p.m. and charged with driving while under the influence of drugs (second offense). The arrest was made on Newbury Road.


The following items were recorded in the Groveland police log:

Jesus Estrella, 37, 67 High St., apt. TOP, Haverhill, was arrested Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. and charged with a previous warrant. Detective James Morton made the arrest on School Street.

Francisco Loja, 36, 420 Washington St., No. 2, Haverhill, was issued a summons Wednesday at 7 p.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license (second offense). Detective Morton issued the summons on Center Street.

Francis J. Perry, 66, 200 Old Groveland Road, Haverhill, was issued a summons Thursday at 8:30 a.m. on a charge of operating a motor vehicle without a license. Detective Morton issued the summons on School Street.


The following item was recorded in the Merrimac police log:

Colleen Franzen, 32, 15 Church St., Merrimac, was arrested Thursday at 11:55 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and defective equipment. Sgt. Steven Ringuette and officer Jeffrey Boisvert made the arrest on Interstate 495.


The following item was recorded at the Newbury barracks:

Eric B. LaFoutain, 43, 41 Pamela Lane, Amesbury, was arrested Wednesday at 5:45 a.m. and charged with two previous warrants and being a fugitive from justice. Trooper Bandini made the arrest in Amesbury.
