Seabrook school social set for Aug. 26

SEABROOK — Officials at Seabrook Elementary and Middle schools invite parents and students to the first Welcome Back BBQ and Ice Cream Social on Thursday, Aug. 26, from 5 to 7 in the schools' courtyard.

The school is providing hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as ice cream, as teachers and administrators welcome new and returning students for the next school year, which begins for children in grades 1 to 8 on Aug. 31.

Seabrook Elementary interim Principal Brian Buckley, Seabrook Middle School Principal Les Shepard and Middle School Vice Principal Bryan Belanger, will be on hand to welcome everyone.

Also doing burger flipping and ice cream scooping duties will be Seabrook School Board members.

Food and fun are free and a great way for children to become acquainted with classmates and teachers.
