Merrimac building permits

The following is a list of building permit recipients, contractors when applicable, property address, a job description and permit fees issued in July. The town does not record estimated construction value. Permit fees are calculated by the square foot and the location of the planned construction.

Peter Hess, Robert Hayes, 26 Woodland St., remodel kitchen, $40.

Richard Temperino, 1 Pine Bluff Ave., repair unsafe porch, add 20-foot addition, new gable roof, $53.

Jed Levine, Lambert Roofing, 20 River Road, repair single-family roof, $50.

Woodscape Builders, LLC, David J. Cunningham, 8A Bartlett St., build 3-bedroom, 2¬-bath duplex townhouses, $3,265.

Michael Phenner, 42 Locust St., install 24-foot round pool (only above ground), no deck permit at this time, $100.

John Murphy, 29 Hadley Road, proceed with a 10-by-3¬-foot deck over existing entry way in front of dwelling; compliant to front yard setback distance, $25.

George Dupree, Jerry LeBlanc, 14 and 16 Green St., strip and re-roof two-family dwelling, $100.

Mike Demeule, Sean Cunning, 13 West Shore Road, construct 18-by-30-foot in-ground pool, $150.

Susan French, Paul G. Hutchins, 3 Prospect Hill Road, remove and replace shower, vanity in bathroom remodel; install four exterior doors; replace one kitchen window, $80.
