Triton seeks input for new website

---- — BYFIELD — The administration of the Triton Regional School District has announced that it will complete a revamping of the district and individual school websites, which can now be found at www.trsd.net.

The goal is to have all sites completely redesigned and launched no later than the start of the next school year in September 2014.

In an email to parents, Assistant Superintendent Brian Forget said the goal of the new website is to become “streamlined” with “logical access to information within three clicks of the mouse.”

“While our (current) website may be dense with information, we believe it is very cumbersome and information that you are looking for is either not there, or not easily and quickly found,” he wrote.

Forget said that the new sites would make particular use of social media as a method of sharing routine updates and information with the Triton community.

“Our goal is to provide frequent, consistent and relevant information in the format most convenient for parents, students and the community,” he added.

Users of the websites, which include those for the middle and high school and Salisbury, Newbury and Pine Grove elementary schools, were invited to provide feedback to the administration to aid in the revamping of the websites via a brief survey.

There is a link to the survey on the main page of the district website at www.trsd.net or go to https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/TritonWebSurvey.
